Welcome to the WEFRA homepage!
The West End of Felixstowe(South) Residents Association
WEFRA was formed in 1994 at a time when many felt problems experienced in this part of town were not being taken seriously by South Ward representatives of that time.
Some improvements have been made over the years thanks to numerous contacts made, not least Steve and Richard, who are our community policemen.
The WEFRA committee has tackled issues ranging from traffic congestion, noise and air pollution, Hooliganism, vandalism, late night noise (night clubs) and Sunday Market traffic problems (there is now a courtesy car park).
The fight goes on to preserve South Sea Front RECREATION Land and historical buildings on or close to Wireless Green. WEFRA is not a political organisation.
Our annual membership fees are modest:
£2. 50p per family or
£1.50p per individual
Subscriptions and donations help with administration costs and the hire of a hall for public meetings.
Residents living in or between Manor Terrace and Undercliff Road West, Langer and Sea Roads, and all those roads between may join our organisation.
Meanwhile, please check this site for additional news and dates of open meetings. Your subscription (or 50p entrance fee) will be collected on your first visit.
